Welcome Ministers are asked to arrive 20 minutes before Mass starts to insure that everything is in place for the celebration of the Mass. They greet and assist with seating and special requests as needed, especially during the reception of Holy Communion. Welcome Ministers are asked to stay 10 to 15 minutes after Mass to insure that everything is put away properly and that everything is in place for the next Mass. Training is provided on an ongoing basis. The only skills needed are attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be of service.
Families and individuals who wish to help this community ensure our parishioners, visitors, and newcomers are welcomed with a warm smile and a greeting. These ministers let visitors know of our joy that they are with us, they hand out worship aids and bulletins, and they help set a tone of warmth and welcome at all liturgical functions. Training is provided as needed.
Open to all ages. No experience is necessary and training is provided! The really great part about serving is that you can choose which weekend(s) work for you. If interested, please complete the Liturgical Ministry Inquiry Form and we will contact you to discuss your questions and establish a schedule that works for you.
